PIAA Semifinal Results: USC Girls Upset Norwin; WPIAL Boys Get Clean Sweep

Results are coming in from PIAA Semifinals.

The big shocker of the night was in the GIRLS CLASS AAA semifinal, where Upper St. Clair raced out to an early lead and hung on to upset the WPIAL Champs Norwin, 2-1 .
South Park and Seneca Valley also advanced to provide more WPIAL representatives in the PIAA Championship games being played on Saturday.   And Sewickley Academy went to a marathon penalty kick shootout — finally prevailing 7-6 after nine kicks each to make it a clean sweep for the boys teams.
Here are all of the PIAA results from Tuesday, with WPIAL teams in bold.

Krysinsky also served as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at his alma mater, Point Park University, where he led the Pioneers to the first-ever winning seasons and playoff berths (1996-98); head coach of North Catholic boys (2007-08), associate head coach of Shady Side Academy boys (2009-2014).
