Acrisure Stadium joins the World Cup party this weekend plus updated list of area watch parties for USMNT and all matches

While our local clubs will continue on this week with important matches — particularly Riveters SC entering W League playoffs (this weekend at FNB Stadium), the Riverhounds take on Brooklyn FC as they return to hosting July 4 match and Steel City FC men are looking to close the deal on winning another Division title, the eyes of the entire sporting world are tuning into the World Cup.

It’s a great time to be a soccer fan in the city, and we have you covered from the local pitches all the way to the global stage.

Below we have a list of all locations which we are aware that will be hosting Watch Parties for USMNT and the pubs/establishments which are regularly showing World Cup matches.

Joining the fun this week is Acrisure Stadium.

World Cup matches are being shown on the giant video screens at Acrisure Stadium on starting Saturday, July 4, then also on July 5, July 9 and for the World Cup Final on July 19.

These free watch party events will be hosted as part of the Pennsylvania World Cup Fan Zone celebrations.

On Tuesday, PSN’s Kevin Hutchinson stopped by Acrisure Stadium to connect with former Steelers kicker and one time soccer player, Shaun Suisham to discuss World Cup, his soccer and pro football career, and more!

Look for more to come from Kevin’s interview with Suisham on PSN.
